Old Poway Park Family Portraits | San Diego Family Photographer

Okay, there is nothing better than a baby who decides they are VERY into their photo session! This little cutie was all smiles for me at Old Poway Park, which obviously made my job pretty easy. I love photographing families at this stage because babies change so ridiculously fast, and those gummy smiles and squishy little expressions deserve to be documented while they’re here. We wandered around the park, let baby be the star of the show, and ended up with such a happy little gallery.

Old Poway Park is also such a fun change of scenery for family photos in San Diego. It has tons of character and gives us a completely different look from our beaches and more traditional parks, with rustic buildings, big trees, and plenty of little spots to explore. It’s especially great for families with babies because we don’t need to cover a ton of ground to get variety. If you’ve been waiting until your baby is a little older to schedule family pictures, you really don’t have to! That first year goes by SO fast, and a smiley baby at this age is more than enough reason to get everyone in front of the camera.
