I provide clients with a fun & relaxed experience, with the goal of showcasing their unique bond in an authentic way. Combining both posed & un-posed photographs, I’m able to tell each family’s story through our sessions.

what to expect:

1. Prompt communication & custom prep guides at every step along the way. I provide each client with a welcome packet upon inquiry that should answer all questions you have about scheduling your session. My location guide is full of over a dozen of my favorite locations in San Diego County, along with sample sessions from each spot & a map so you can choose the location that’s most convenient for you. In the weeks before our session, you’ll receive a styling guide with some of my top tips for styling your session. If you have any questions at any part of the process, I’m just a phone call away!

2. During our session, I will set up those posed “above the fireplace” shots, but I’ll also be prompting some sweet, candid moments in between. I’ll chat with your kids, make funny noises, & tell “mom” jokes. I love ticklefests & group hugs. We’ll move around our location to get you plenty of variety, and whether your session is 15 minutes or 2 hours, you’ll walk away feeling like you got way more than you expected!

3. After your session, I sift through our images to select the very best. All of the selected images from our session go through a basic retouching process to polish them up a bit. Watermarked images are uploaded to a private, online gallery within 3 weeks of our session. You’ll receive an email with a link & a password to view your proofs & choose your images. Each package comes with a different amount of digital images, and additional files/prints can be purchased if desired. 

But what do I do with my hands?

I feel you!! I’ve been doing this for over a decade now & can pose people all day long, but when it’s MY turn in front of the camera, sometimes I still don’t know what to do with my dang hands. “Photojournalistic” style doesn’t mean I’ll make you fend for yourself. I’ll make sure you look great while still capturing authentic moments. So whether you’re a natural in front of the camera or photoshoots make you “Chandler smile,” don’t worry… I’ve got you.
