San Diego Extended Family Photos | Vacation and Air BnB Family Photographer

If you’re getting the whole family together for a San Diego vacation, hiring a photographer might be one of the best souvenirs you bring home! This extended family was staying together at an absolutely INSANELY gorgeous Airbnb in Poway, which made it the perfect spot for their session. We had grandparents, parents, lots of little kids, and everyone together in one place, so instead of packing everybody up and heading to another location, I came right to them. With a big group and little ones involved, making family photos as easy as possible is ALWAYS a win. By the way, I don’t charge extra for on-location family photos!

I also love Airbnb family sessions because the house becomes part of the memory. Years from now, the kids might not remember every detail of the vacation, but they’ll have photos of everyone together during this little slice of their childhood. We can get the big extended family photo, grandparents with their grandkids, individual families, and plenty of the fun stuff happening in between. If you’re planning a family reunion or multigenerational trip to San Diego, consider adding an extended family photo session to the itinerary. It takes up such a small part of your vacation, and unlike most of the souvenirs you bring home, these are only going to become more valuable with time.
