North County San Diego Family Photo Session | Buena Vista Park Family Photos

Almost 30 years!! That's how long I've known this family, which is a little crazy to think about. I grew up spending SO much time at their house that it basically felt like my second home, so getting to photograph them all these years later is pretty special. We headed to Buena Vista Park in Vista for their family session, and I love that I get to document this chapter of their lives after knowing them for so many others. There's something really fun about photographing people who have known you since you were a kid, especially when you have decades of memories together that go way beyond anything happening in front of the camera.

Buena Vista Park is such a pretty little spot for family photos in North County San Diego! With its natural scenery and woodsy feel, it's a great option for families who want something different from our usual San Diego beaches. I love locations where we can wander around a bit and keep things relaxed instead of making every photo feel perfectly posed. And while I'm always excited to meet new families, getting to photograph people who have been part of my own life for this long is a pretty amazing perk of this job. Almost three decades of friendship, and now I get to add their family pictures to all those memories!
