I can’t even contain myself with this session! First off, it’s super special to me because I’ve known this cutie’s mama since we were kids; we used to be in dance class together. One of the coolest parts of this job is getting to reconnect with old friends & meet their adorable littles, and this session did not disappoint. Sweet Mia was a little shy at first, but MAN when she warms up, she WARMS up!

I loooove figuring out unique ways to make toddlers feel comfortable & relax in front of the lens. For this session, it was a LOT of singing Olaf’s song from Frozen II. The best part about having kids myself is actually knowing lyrics, character names, etc! It’s definitely easier now than it was when I first started, before I had kids.

We had so much fun using Montevalle Park in Chula Vista (Eastlake) as our background, and the warm, summer light was beautiful! Check out Mia’s 2 year old portraits below!
