Cactus Garden Photographer | San Diego Family & Child Portraits (PART ONE)

This is part one of a two part blog for this awesome family! We split the session between two locations, so I’m sharing our first stop today & will share the next stop on the next post!

For the first half of our session, we chose the cactus garden in Balboa Park (I think it’s technically called the desert garden). I LOVE this spot & was pleasantly surprised by pretty good morning light!

I photographed this family with their old pup a few years back. She sadly passed shortly after our session, and they reached out to thank me for the photos I took of her. They recently adopted a new puppy, and this little sweetheart was SO much fun with such personality! I loved every second of this shoot!
