There are just some people you feel an instant connection with. I felt this way about Danielle & Jared when I first met them at the Coffee Bean at the start of the year. They were both so sweet & funny, and I enjoyed chatting with them about wedding details, as I totally loved their location & overall wedding concept! We had a great engagement session in Old Poway Park & their wedding was held at the Serra Museum in Presidio Park. They mixed together rustic details with pretty jewel tones for a really classic yet fun look! I may be partial to Jared’s Chuck Taylors because I wore mine for the reception part of MY wedding but I thought they paired very nicely with Danielle’s sparkly beige/gold shoes!! SO cute & made for some great shots! Check out some of my initial favorites from their wedding day!!

Renee & Howard are two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met! They were married on Sunday afternoon at the beautiful Loew’s Coronado Bay Resort in sunny Coronado. The weather was beautiful (although just a bit chilly!) and the ceremony happened just before a colorful sunset painted the sky. Renee & Howard have been together for 10 years, so it was definitely about time they sealed the deal! The love they shared echoed through the entire celebration & I had so much fun capturing their special day!
The vendors for this wedding were really an awesome group of people. I love dinner break chat & making new friends (and networking!) during the wedding. Here’s the vendor List:
Location: Loew’s Coronado Bay Resort
Wedding Coordination Services: Nahid Farhoud of Wedding Elegance by Nahid
DJ: Craig Pearman
Videographer: Luke McCain Videography
Flowers: Rainbow Flowers
Cake: Flour Power
Officiant: Deborah Davis

Allie & Keith tied the knot on October 22nd at the beautiful Wedding Bowl in La Jolla, CA. The Wedding Bowl is a tough spot to book; I hear there’s a pretty competitive lottery system, so they must have been super excited to get it! The weather was a bit overcast but made for great lighting at their 3 PM ceremony. My favorite part of weddings is watching the bridal party during the ceremony… it was clear that everyone was excited for these two to get married!!
One thing I want to mention is that this couple designed a custom photography package to fit their needs for the day. They only wanted about an hour or so of photography to cover the main events: ceremony, bridal party/family photos, and bride & groom portraits. I understand that everyone’s needs are different for their wedding day, so packages are never set in stone! Remember this while booking your wedding!
